村田有美が1980年に発表したセカンド・アルバム『クリシュナ』。サウンド・プロデューサーを清水靖晃、コ・プロデューサーを笹路正徳が務め、村田有美 (vo)、土方隆行 (g)、笹路正徳 (key)、清水靖晃 (sax)、村川聡 (cho)、富倉安生 (b)、渡嘉敷祐一 (ds)、穴井忠臣 (perc)、Ohno Strings Section、MARIAH Super Horn Sectionという編成でマライアのメンバーの全面参加の元制作されている。ファンキーなヴォーカル・スタイルから、か弱くハスキーなヴォーカルまで、変幻自在な彼女のヴォーカルの魅力がマライア・プロジェクトのバックアップの元、存分に生かされおり、一気に覚醒したかのようなエネルギーに満ちている。ジャズ、ロック、ファンク、ディスコ、ブギー、フュージョンなど様々な要素が交錯し、表現力豊かなヴォーカルに乗って、ドラマティックに展開していくサウンドは、当時の時代の空気感を汲みつつ、マライア・プロジェクトの野心に満ちた実験精神と共に鮮やかな彩りを放っている。


「Let It Blow」マライアらしい凝ったアレンジとパワフルな歌声。

「Morning Telephone」表現力豊かで、同じ人とは思えないほどの歌声。
